Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to lead security operations for the DOS-focused GMOS contract. You will guide a high-performing team, ensure RMF/FISMA/NIST compliance, and manage A&A artifacts across a large enterprise.

The role requires active Secret clearance, extensive ISSO/ISSM experience, and the ability to implement security controls, monitoring, and incident response in a complex federal IT environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree and 13+ years in cybersecurity, information assurance, or information systems security; equivalencies considered.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Extensive ISSO/ISSM or security professional experience in complex enterprise IT environments.
• RMF, FISMA, NIST SP 800-53, and federal security standards experience.
• A&A lifecycle: security controls, authorization packages, continuous monitoring.
• SSP, POA&M, risk assessments, and security artifacts development.
• Security assessments, compliance reviews, vulnerability analysis, remediation tracking.
• Vulnerability management, security monitoring, configuration compliance, and system hardening.
• Security across Windows/Linux, AD, Exchange, networks, virtualization, hosting/cloud, and IAM.
• Reviewing architectures and changes to embed security requirements throughout the lifecycle.
• Incident response, threat management, and escalation with government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Leads comprehensive security and internal controls maintenance per DOS policies across CA IT enterprise supporting 40,000+ users.
• Maintains security-approved thresholds for sites ensuring enterprise compliance with DOS policies.
• Leads monitoring and response to vulnerability/threat reports with bureaus and agencies for remediation.
• Provides security guidance for service portfolio management aligning with Federal accessibility standards.
• Ensures architecture and standards development aligns with DOS and Federal security requirements.
• Ensures engineering designs for hosting environments incorporate security best practices per DOS/NIST/FISMA.
• Leads security compliance for engineering IT services including Exchange, AD, DNS, DHCP, and backups.
• Provides security guidance for network engineering ensuring secure connectivity across 350+ facilities.
• Leads infrastructure audits, assessments, and compliance analysis to meet DOS/DT/EA/CST security requirements.
• Possesses broad knowledge and may supervise others across multiple projects.
