Job summary

Centuria seeks an Information Security Systems Officer (ISSO) at Hanscom AFB to secure information and information systems under the BLITS 3.0 program. You will develop, oversee, and maintain an IA program, supervise IA staff, and ensure compliance with Air Force and DoD cyber directives. TS/SCI clearance and Security+ are required.

The role involves implementing IA policies, ensuring proper training, and maintaining C&A documentation for networked systems at Hanscom.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity/Information Technology or equivalent.
• 6 years' experience with cybersecurity in DoD or Federal agency; 4 years may substitute for the degree.
• Strong knowledge of Air Force, DoD and Federal Cybersecurity Directives.
• Security+ certification required.
• TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, oversee, and maintain IA program for customer org across IA levels (Secret to SAP).
• Supervise the customer organization's IA program.
• Implement and enforce Air Force IA policies and procedures.
• Comply with installation WCSO policy and direction.

• Provide annual IA refresher training.
• Develop and maintain Certification and Accreditation documentation for Hanscom Network-connected systems.

BLITS 3.0 PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: This role will be to directly support the mission of the 66th Air Base Group (66 ABG) to secure information and information systems; to support mission success through effective and efficient service delivery; and to sustain required infrastructure and capabilities. As one part of the greater Air Force Information Network (AFIN) enterprise, the 66 ABG Communications and Information Division (66 ABG/SC) has responsibilities in two categories (1) direct actions in support of Hanscom Air Force Base (HAFB) and geographically separated units (GSUs); and (2) indirect actions to support the AFIN enterprise. Successful solutions for this requirement are expected to have strengths in four areas: integration, flexibility, AFIN knowledge, and technical expertise.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, oversee, and maintain customer organization information assurance (IA) program that identifies IA requirements, personnel, processes, and procedures. These requirements may be at the Secret, Top Secret (TS), TS/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI), or Special Access Program (SAP) level.
• Supervise the customer organization's IA program.
• Implement and enforce all Air Force IA policies and procedures using the guidance within this instruction and applicable specialized IA publications.
• Comply with the installation WCSO policy and direction.
• Ensure all users have the requisite security clearances, supervisory need-to-know authorization, and are aware of their IA responsibilities (via IA training) before being granted access to Air Force information systems according to AFSSI 8522.
• Ensure all users receive IA refresher training on an annual basis.
• Develop and maintain Certification and Accreditation (C&A) documentation for organization-specific systems connected to the Hanscom Network.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity/Information technology or equivalent
• 6 years' experience with Cybersecurity practices within the DoD or other Federal Agency. An additional 4 years' experience may substitute for the degree.
• Strong knowledge of Air Force, DoD and applicable Federal Cybersecurity Directives and Instructions
• Work dynamically and effectively with people on projects (formal and informal) and conduct technical interchanges as required.
• Security+ certification required.
• TS/SCI clearance.
