Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks an experienced Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support secure DoD cloud systems and programs. You will oversee RMF/JSIG accreditation, monitor cybersecurity posture, and assist the ISSM in protecting classified systems across development, operations, and security teams.

The role requires hands-on expertise, TS clearance, and collaboration with DevOps and IT teams to implement Zero Trust security and cloud-native protections.

Qualifications

• DoD 8570 IAT II certification or equivalent security role with hands-on experience.
• Three years of user experience in ISSO/security roles.
• Experience with RMF/JSIG lifecycle and continuous monitoring.
• Knowledge of SCAP tools and DoD security baselines.

Responsibilities

• Perform continuous monitoring, vulnerability assessment, and risk analysis with remediation tracking.
• Maintain security posture aligned with RMF/JSIG and ATO requirements.
• Verify clearance and need‑to‑know before system access.
• Ensure audit records are captured and reviewed for anomalies.
• Lead system security reviews to comply with benchmarks and baselines.
• Develop RMF documentation packages (SSP, SAP, SAR, POA&M, ConMon).
• Support Authorization to Operate (ATO) packages and Body of Evidence (BoE).
• Coordinate hardware/software changes with ISSM/AO/DAO and stakeholders.
