Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) seeks an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to join the Classified Systems team in San Diego (Poway), CA. You will monitor and administer IT security to ensure compliance with company, regulatory, and customer requirements.

The role requires six or more years in information assurance, an active Secret clearance with potential TS eligibility, and DoD RMF experience. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6+ years of progressive professional experience in information assurance or related field.
• Active Secret clearance and ability to obtain TS with SAP & SCI eligibility.
• DoD 8570 IAM Level I (e.g. Security+) certification.
• Experience with DoD RMF and Joint SAP implementation guidance.
• Experience with Windows desktop and server OS.
• Familiarity with DISA STIGs, SCAP, and ACAS.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, evaluate, and administer system security compliance to meet company, regulatory, and customer requirements.
• Develop or modify information assurance security program plans and requirements.
• Maintain System Security Plans, instructions, and SOPs; participate in audits and risk assessments.
• Identify risks and recommend improvements; participate in corrective actions for vulnerabilities.
• Ensure confidentiality and act as a primary contact with internal stakeholders.
