Job summary

Odyssey is seeking a T-7A Instructional Training Systems Engineer to lead development, verification, and integration of advanced training systems for the USAF. You will drive ISD, IMI, Type 1 training, and XR tech, coordinating with program teams and government reviews to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires DoD-focused engineering leadership, DoD experience, and a track record of successful training system integration on complex programs at Wright-Patterson AFB. Active clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in a related field from an ABET-accredited engineering program and 15 years of DoD experience.
• Or a ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree with 20 years in the field, including 15 in the DoD.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for development, verification, and integration of T-7A training systems.
• Lead design reviews and verify system requirements across ISD, IMI, Type 1 training and extended reality.
• Support program documentation, meetings, and government verification testing as applicable.
