Job summary

The Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) seeks engineers, scientists, and programmers to design and validate ISRT capabilities for the US military. You will contribute to algorithms, software prototypes, and deployable apps, focusing on signal processing, data fusion, optimization, and modeling.

Applicants should hold a degree in engineering or related fields and be able to work in secure areas, travel for site visits, and pursue TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or related field.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C++, Java and Linux environments.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Willing to work in secure areas and travel to government sites.
• Eligibility for U.S. citizenship and Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to teams developing algorithms, software prototypes, and deployable applications for ISRT applications.
• Develop new signal processing, image processing, multi-sensor data fusion, and multi-sensor resource optimization techniques.
• Develop modeling, simulation, and analytical methods and tools.
• Develop and analyze ISRT concepts and architectures.
• Plan, execute and conduct data analysis for field tests and experiments.
• Collaborate with teams to develop user interfaces, visualizations, and network/web services.
• Present results to project leads, sponsors, and technical workshops and conferences.
