Job summary

The Fagron Cleanroom Compounding Technician in Wichita, KS will assist in compounding activities inside ISO 8 environment for 6+ hours per shift. The role requires standing, gowning qualifications training provided, and adherence to cGMP/GDP with batch records.

Ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 2 years related experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and strong communication skills. This position offers competitive salary and benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years related experience.
• Strong understanding of cGMP and GDP in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to frequently lift/move materials and objects (up to 40 lbs).
• Ability to work overtime on weekends as needed.
• Able to take direction and work on production requirements as needed (after training).
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work with others in a positive and professional manner and to develop and maintain strong working relationships with co‑workers and management.

Responsibilities

• High level of attention to detail with the ability to multitask.
• Responsible for assisting in the set‑up of daily activities including staging of batches, equipment cleaning/sanitization and set‑up, and documenting in batch records and logbooks.
• Meet Right First Time (RFT) metrics by reducing error / deviations and completing corrections in a timely manner.
• Maintain adherence to SOPs, cGMPs and the manufacturing schedule.
• Aid in inventory control by properly documenting components and materials used on corresponding paperwork.
• Ability to receive and maintain an ISO 8 and High Potency Compounding gowning qualification (training will be provided).
• Be able to complete periods of standing up to 6hrs per shift and be able to twist and lift product material during job shift.
• Assume other duties and responsibilities as directed by supervisors.
