Job summary

Fagron is seeking a Cleanroom Compounding Technician to support sterile compounding in an ISO 8 environment. You will assist with batch setup, documentation, and equipment sanitation while maintaining strict adherence to procedures.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of related experience, strong knowledge of cGMP/GDP, and the ability to lift materials up to 40 lbs. Weekend overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ related experience.
• Strong understanding of cGMP and GDP in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to frequently lift/move materials and objects (up to 40 lbs).
• Ability to work overtime on weekends as needed.
• Able to take direction and work on production requirements after training.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the set-up of daily activities including staging of batches, equipment cleaning/sanitization and set-up, and documenting in batch records and logbooks.
• Meet Right First Time (RFT) metrics by reducing errors and completing corrections promptly.
• Maintain adherence to SOPs, cGMPs and the manufacturing schedule.
• Aid in inventory control by documenting components and materials used on paperwork.
• Receive and maintain ISO 8 and High Potency Compounding gowning qualification (training provided).
• Stand up to 6 hours per shift and lift/twist product material as needed.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisors.

About The Job

The Cleanroom Compounding Technician will assist in the compounding activities inside classified areas and remain gowned inside an ISO 8 environment for 6+ hrs.

Key Responsibilities

• High level of attention to detail with the ability to multitask.
• Responsible for assisting in the set-up of daily activities including staging of batches, equipment cleaning/sanitization and set-up, and documenting in batch records and logbooks.
• Meet Right First Time (RFT) metrics by reducing error / deviations and completing corrections in a timely manner.
• Maintain adherence to SOP’s, cGMPs and the manufacturing schedule.
• Aid in inventory control by properly documenting components and materials used on corresponding paperwork.
• Ability to receive and maintain an ISO 8 and High Potency Compounding gowning qualification (training will be provided).
• Be able to complete periods of standing up to 6hrs per shift and be able to twist and lift product material during job shift.
• Assume other duties and responsibilities as directed by supervisors.
