The role requires strong kitchen and staff management, the ability to work under pressure, and familiarity with MS Office and POS systems. This position offers a hands-on leadership track within a luxury hospitality setting.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of Sous Chef experience preferred.
• Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients and procedures.
• Excellent record of kitchen and staff management.
• Accuracy and speed in handling emergencies and problem solving.
• Working knowledge of computer software including MS Office and POS systems.
• BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Help in the preparation and design of all food and drinks menus.
• Produce high-quality plates in design and taste.
• Ensure kitchen operations meet quality standards in a timely way.
• Fill in for the Executive Chef when needed.
• Resourcefully solve issues and manage problematic situations.
• Manage and train kitchen staff, set schedules and assess performance.
• Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately.
• Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude with coworkers and guests.
