The pharmacist participates in all aspects of patient care, including drug purchasing, CSP preparation, information, and clinical rounding with the medical team. You will review orders, ensure safe dosing, resolve drug interactions, educate patients, and collaborate with nursing and ancillary staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required; Massachusetts license required.
• 2+ years hospital pharmacy experience preferred or 1-year residency.
• Ability to perform sterile compounding and comply with USP/ BORP regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform sterile compounding (Hazardous/non-Hazardous) per USP and BORP.
• Review and dispense medications per policy; ensure proper dosing.
• Collaborate with nursing/medical teams; provide drug information and education.
• Manage controlled substances; participate in audits and inventories.
• Education and rounding with medical staff; support department policies.
