Job summary

Nantucket Cottage Hospital is seeking a Hospital Pharmacist to optimize drug therapy and ensure compliant, safe patient care. You will oversee pharmacy operations, supervise staff, and contribute to formulary and quality improvement programs. The role may involve prescribing under CDTM agreements where permitted and requires MA licensure.

The position includes a $15,000 sign-on bonus plus a relocation and housing stipend, reflecting our commitment to attracting top talent to a coastal community.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree and licensure in Massachusetts.
• Experience across IV admixtures, drug information, ambulatory care, manufacturing and distribution.
• Commitment to continuing education (minimum 20 credits per year).

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates pharmacy services and staff.
• Ensures formulary management and medication safety initiatives.
• Documents interventions, medication errors and adverse drug events.
• Participates in department quality improvement efforts.
