Job summary
La Vida Hospitality Group is seeking a server for Big Chill Island House, North Myrtle Beach, offering an island-inspired dining experience with signature cocktails, craft beer, and curated wine. You will entertain guests, upsell desserts, and act as a brand ambassador in a vibrant waterfront setting.
Requirements include 1+ year in a fast-paced restaurant, outgoing personality, ABC Card, and ability to stand and move throughout shifts.
Qualifications
- 1+ years relevant experience in a fast-paced restaurant.
- Outgoing, upbeat, friendly personality.
- Must be at least 18, preferably over 21, with current ABC Card.
- Advanced knowledge of beer, wine, liquor and common drink recipes.
- Basic math skills and ability to handle money and operate a cash register.
- Able to stand, walk, and climb stairs for long periods; lift up to 40 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Provide a tour of menus and highlight features.
- Be a storyteller, make suggestions, and guide guests.
- Greet guests, make eye contact and ensure comfort.
- Enter orders quickly and accurately in POS system.
- Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner.
- Promote the restaurant and inform guests about events.
- Handle payments and present checks accurately.
