Aloha United Way, Inc seeks a Community Outreach Specialist to advance 211 services across the neighbor island service area. You will connect with community organizations, government agencies, and residents to raise awareness and access to 211 resources.

You will represent AUW 211 at events, build partnerships, and help ensure outreach strategies reflect local needs and data. This role supports disaster outreach and collaborates with AUW teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in social work, public health, human services, or related field.
• Alternatively, high school diploma with 2+ years in community outreach or related work.

Responsabilités

• Plan, coordinate, and lead outreach activities in the assigned service area.
• Represent AUW 211 at community events and meetings and communicate available services.
• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, government partners, and health and human service providers.
• Identify and cultivate new partnerships to expand 211's reach, especially in underserved communities.
• Develop and distribute outreach materials for local audiences and needs.
• Collaborate with AUW teams to align outreach with organizational priorities.
• Serve as AUW 211's local emergency outreach liaison for disaster preparedness and response.
• Track outreach activities and engagement outcomes to inform strategy.
