United Way for Greater Austin is seeking a Part-Time 211 Navigation Specialist to deliver information, referrals, and compassionate service to the local community. This role supports a 24/7 operation and requires availability for evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

You will handle calls from Texans, log resources, and ensure timely, accurate data entry while maintaining high service standards. Preference given to those with social services experience and bilingual Spanish abilities, and

Qualifikationen

• At least one year of social services experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and switch tasks quickly while assisting callers by phone.

Aufgaben

• Provide information and referrals to community resources via call center system.
• Serve as primary Information and Referral specialist for callers in Texas.
• Collect demographic data and log resources accurately.
• Handle 60-80 calls per day and meet monthly metrics.
• Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed due to 24/7 operations.
