Job summary

Child & Family Service is seeking a Crisis Intervention and Outreach Specialist II to provide informal counseling, outreach, and information/referral services under supervision in Wailuku, HI. The role supports education programs focused on health and safety.

Responsibilities include developing outreach materials, identifying community groups, delivering engaging presentations, and maintaining documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to communicate and work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Bachelor's degree in health or human services preferred but not required.
• Four-year college degree required; specialized training in social work, psychology, or related field a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide prevention, education, outreach, and information/referral services under supervision.
• Develop and implement educational materials (brochures, leaflets, flyers).
• Identify community groups for program presentations and outreach.
• Deliver presentations with engaging visual materials.
• Serve as a positive role model for youth.
• Complete admin tasks including activity reports and logs.
