Job summary

Nova Center of the Ozarks is seeking an ISL Manager in Springfield, MO. You will oversee Direct Support Professionals, provide client habilitation per personal plans, and run daily ISL operations under the DDP, ensuring quality and compliance.

Key duties include staff supervision, documentation, budgeting, scheduling, and on-call weekend coverage. Requires a high school diploma, driver’s license, CPR/First Aid/Mandt/Meds certs, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Prefer a minimum of one year of experience working with the developmentally disabled.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class E driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance required.
• Certified in CPR, First Aid, Mandt and Medication Administration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to maintain a record of punctuality and good attendance required.
• Ability to manage crisis situations calmly and effectively in accordance with policy.
• Ability to work flexible hours required.
• Demonstrate the ability to work without direct supervision.
• Ability to follow and carry out the goals of the client’s personal plan.
• Demonstrate the ability to operate a motor vehicle safely.
• Ability to address difficult team situations with professionalism and collaboration.
• Ability to stand, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds as well as pull or push items.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day ISL operations and lead DSP staff.
• Keep the DDP informed of daily occurrences.
• Ensure daily documentation is complete.
• Supervise, train, and support staff.
• Monitor staffing, schedules, and overtime; assist with coverage.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Oversee budgeting and financial records.
• Maintain inventory and supply lists.
• Be on-call manager during weekends.
• Cover shifts as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
