Job summary

Community Support Services of Missouri (CSS) seeks a Professional Manager to lead and supervise ISLs, directing Direct Support Professionals and coordinating habilitation teams. You will ensure plans are carried out with fidelity, maintain documentation, and communicate with supervisors and stakeholders to promote independence for clients.

You will participate in the leadership team, manage on-call rotations, and oversee program quality, supplies, and transport needs, while supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field or 5 years’ direct experience with developmental disabilities required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficiency with basic computer software and records systems.
• Ability to write and supervise habilitation plans and reports.
• Must pass background checks and hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee training for Direct Support Professionals.
• Serve as primary habilitation team member for individuals on caseload.
• Ensure plans and strategies are implemented with integrity.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
• Maintain open, person-centered communication with supervisors and stakeholders.
• Observe and report changes in individuals’ condition and behavior.
• Provide supports with respect and dignity to individuals served.
• Promote community involvement and participation.
• Be reachable by cell phone for on-call duties.
• Assist in staffing as needed and ensure supplies at worksites.
• Ensure overall program quality and safety, including transportation when required.
