Job summary

Seattle Tree Care is seeking an ISA Certified Sales Arborist to drive outside sales in the Seattle area. You will assess client needs at homes and sites, develop professional proposals, and secure paid tree care work with commissions.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and strong client communication, with a focus on expanding our urban forestry services and maintaining profitable project delivery. You will collaborate with the Director of Sales and field crews to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• ISA Certified Arborist credential required.
• TRAQ or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service, estimating, or client-facing sales.
• Practical arboriculture/urban forestry background preferred.
• Proficient with Google Workspace and CRM systems.
• Clean driving record and pass background check.
• Strong organizational and mathematical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform client intake and lead qualifying.
• Meet with clients to review tree care needs; conduct site assessments and diagnostics.
• Prepare proposals outlining scope of work and cost; submit to clients.
• Identify and secure new residential, commercial, and municipal contracts.
• Maintain a pipeline of outside sales activity to meet targets.
• Coordinate with clients and crews to ensure safe, profitable projects.
• File permits as needed; coordinate with consulting team.
• Manage project details and costs to stay within profitability targets.
