Most of the positions at YCCO are hybrid, meaning they have the flexibility to work both remotely and in-person at YCCO's office in McMinnville, OR.

Summary

The IS Technical Project Manager defines, plans, manages, and closes technical projects aligned with YCCO's organizational and strategic goals. This role focuses on infrastructure, software implementations, and process improvements, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget, while meeting organizational needs. The manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that improve operational efficiency and support strategic objectives.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop detailed project plans covering scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and risks.
  2. Serve as the main contact for project stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.
  3. Hold regular meetings to review progress, address concerns, and gather feedback.
Job Duties
Project Planning & Management
  • Partner with IS and operational departments throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Define deliverables and success criteria aligned with organizational goals.
  • Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Communicate project status effectively to all stakeholders.
  • Facilitate meetings and manage expectations.
Technical Oversight
  • Oversee technical aspects, including workflow design and implementation.
  • Ensure solutions meet industry standards and compliance.
  • Collaborate to resolve technical issues and document solutions.
Resource & Budget Management
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Coordinate with resource managers and track expenditures.
  • Develop mitigation strategies for risks.
Quality Assurance
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Conduct testing and validation.
  • Obtain stakeholder sign-off.
Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Prepare reports for senior management.
  • Document lessons learned.
Additional Functions
  • Promote inclusive and equitable services.
  • Assist with audits and regulatory submissions.
  • Implement process improvements.
  • Attend annual company conference in Oregon.
  • Collaborate with teams and respect supervisory guidance.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Understanding of healthcare regulations.
  • Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills, including conveying technical info to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, remotely and regionally.
Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
  • At least 3 years managing technical projects in healthcare.
Preferred
  • 5+ years managing healthcare technical projects.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
