Job summary

Jobtailor in Oregon is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead the full lifecycle of IT initiatives, from initiation to closeout, and to develop charters, schedules, and governance documents. You will identify and mitigate risks, manage issues, and escalate significant items to sponsors.

The role includes coordinating testing, go-live activities, and governance across application, infrastructure, security, and business teams, with strong emphasis on compliance with security and accessibility

Qualifications

  • Three years of progressively responsible paraprofessional or technical experience related to the series concept.
  • Oregon Project Management Associate Certification AND two years of progressively responsible experience; OR
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or a closely related field; OR
  • A Project Management Professional Certification awarded by the Project Management Institute
  • Knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate IT project activities
  • Skill in requirements gathering, documentation, and process mapping
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Skill in facilitation, meeting management, and conflict resolution
  • Familiarity with information technology concepts, system development, and software implementation processes
  • Ability to track multiple assignments, manage competing deadlines, and follow structured workflows
  • Must be able to report to the listed office location as necessary for hybrid work
  • Access to a broadband internet connection meeting minimum acceptable requirements for approved remote work
  • Private workspace for approved remote work
  • Must maintain good standing with no performance or attendance issues
  • No visa sponsorship; must be authorized to work in the United States and complete Form I-9
  • Successful completion of required criminal record, driving record, vulnerable population abuse and neglect, and other applicable pre-employment checks
  • Must serve as a mandatory reporter of child abuse

Responsibilities
