Reporting Line

This position reports to: IS Product Manager, ERP PP/QM/PM

Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will provide technical and business process/data advice to support ongoing operations and new software development. You will utilize your knowledge of systems, procedures, and emerging technologies daily. You will oversee the development and validate the functionality of the final product.

The work model is hybrid within the vicinity of an approved ABB office.

Main Accountabilities

1. Collaborate with IS Service Managers, Business Process Specialists, IS Business Engagement Managers, IS Application Owners, to estimate efforts for IS solutions/services development, change requests, and releases.
2. Translate project and change requirements into specifications for internal and external delivery teams.
3. Understand detailed business processes and apply this knowledge to shape IS solutions/services activities.
4. Assist in installation, management, maintenance, and optimization of internal and cross-functional IS processes.
5. Act as SME in your area of responsibility, supporting operations or developing new software.
6. Maintain awareness of upcoming demand within your scope of services.
7. Pre-qualify and prioritize change requests; escalate projects as needed.
8. Provide consultation and support for the installation or modification of IS solutions/services.
9. Manage budgets effectively and ensure activities are delivered within schedules and costs.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of IS experience within SAP PP, QM, & PM domains.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into IS solutions.
• Strong knowledge in PP, QM, PM with at least two full life cycle implementations.
• Excellent analytical skills and understanding of business processes and IS technologies.
• Experience in project planning, execution, and understanding of system management economics.
• Degree in information management, computer systems, or related fields.
• Knowledge of application development processes and IT service management.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% during certain project phases.
