Job summary

FinOps Weekly in Columbus, OH is seeking a Financial Analyst to manage IT operating and capital expenditures, forecast budgets, and provide governance across a multi-cloud environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years IT financial management or financial analysis experience.
  • Hands-on cloud billing experience with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Strong communication and ability to present to executives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage IT operating and capital expenditures, budgets, forecasts, and multi-year plans.
  • Support vendor negotiations and ad hoc financial analysis for strategic decisions.
  • Ensure financial decisions align with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

The work centers on transparent cost management, accurate forecasting, financial governance, and support for data-driven investment decisions tied to clinical, operational, and strategic priorities.The role partners with cloud, engineering, and IT leadership teams to manage cloud spend across multiple vendors, improve visibility into cost drivers, and apply FinOps practices. It also supports software licensing optimization for major vendors, including compliance, renewal tracking, and cost efficiency.In addition, the role develops financial analyses for technology initiatives such as clinical systems, infrastructure upgrades, analytics platforms, and digital health solutions.
