Job summary

Morse Micro is seeking a Product Quality Engineer to own the Failure Analysis lab at the Irvine site, serving as the main liaison between customers, FAEs, and Sydney-based engineering teams. You will triage and investigate customer-returned units, translate findings into FA reports, and drive investigations to closure across time zones.

You will perform module-level RF tests with LitePoint IQxel, log results, raise Jira tickets, and contribute to Confluence documentation while maintaining

Qualifications

• Hands-on RF production test experience with LitePoint IQxel or equivalent.
• Module-level failure triage experience and Jira-based tracking.
• End-to-end FA investigations from receipt through root cause and report delivery.
• Strong technical writing for customer-facing FA reports and internal docs.
• Effective async cross-time zone communication with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Receive, log, and maintain custody for all customer-returned units; manage sample tracking.
• Operate RF test setups to measure Tx/Rx parameters and verify corrective actions.
• Perform multi-unit failure triage and log results for engineering teams.
• Contribute to Confluence with lab procedures, results, and configurations.
