Job summary

Masimo Irvine is seeking a Failure Analysis Engineer to perform root cause analyses on customer returns, new builds, and prototypes, pinpointing issues to circuit board, component, or process levels. This on-site role reports to the Sr Manager, Product Assurance in Irvine, CA.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year QC testing experience, a BSEE, and hands-on testing equipment knowledge (microscopes, DMMs, oscilloscopes). Bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Quality Control testing experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with electrical testing equipment such as microscopes and oscilloscopes.

Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis using diverse techniques to isolate issues in Masimo products.
• Analyze and troubleshoot electronic circuits at system, module, and component levels.
• Investigate products using electrical test equipment, CT X-ray, optical microscopy, and environmental testing.
