Masimo, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Failure Analysis Engineer to perform failure analysis on customer returns, new builds, and prototypes in Irvine, CA. The role emphasizes root-cause isolation from device systems down to boards and components, reporting to the Sr Manager, Product Assurance, and an on-site team.

Qualifications include 1+ year of QC testing and a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, with familiarity in testing equipment and electro-mechanical troubleshooting.

Competenze

• 1+ year of Quality Control testing experience.
• Working knowledge of electrical engineering or related device level troubleshooting for electromechanical products.
• Experience with electrical testing equipment such as microscopes, calipers, multimeters, oscilloscopes.

Mansioni

• Perform root cause analysis to isolate issues in devices, cables, and sensors.
• Analyze and troubleshoot circuits at system/module/component level using schematics.
• Utilize analytical instruments and environmental chamber testing for product investigations.
