Job summary

Constellation West is seeking a Senior Software Developer/Infrastructure Currency Engineer to join our IRS CAS program. This remote role supports IRSCAS with occasional onsite meetings, deployments, and knowledge transfer.

The candidate should have 5+ years of experience in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, IBM webMethods, and middleware modernization, with strong OpenShift/Kubernetes, CI/CD, and production support skills. Location is remote in the US with required onsite support as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience implementing application-layer currency and supportability changes for Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, IBM webMethods, or comparable middleware applications.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The candidate needs 5+ years of experience implementing application-layer technical currency and supportability changes for Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, IBM webMethods, or comparable middleware applications.

Experience should include JDK/runtime upgrades, library and dependency remediation, certificate renewals, credential/secret dependency updates, schema/interface changes, secure coding fixes, OpenShift/Linux compatibility, Git/GitHub, CI/CD awareness, developer validation, rollback planning, configuration baselines, dependency inventories, and technical documentation.
