Desert Mountain Club in Scottsdale, AZ seeks an Irrigation Technician to assist in maintaining, repairing, and monitoring golf course irrigation systems. Responsibilities include working with pumps, piping, valves, and meters, plus manual watering when needed.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in golf course maintenance.
• Familiarity with basic irrigation practices.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and performing repairs on complex irrigation (automatic) systems.
• Hand waters golf course as directed by supervisors.
• Read water flow meters and monitor irrigation components.
• Operate and maintain pumping equipment and read gauges.
• Repair broken pipes, swing joints, and adjust head spacing for even water distribution.
• Perform preventive maintenance on valves and PRV components.
