Qualifications

• Equivalency statement allows 1 year of higher education for 1 year of related work experience.
• Irrigation Technicians I: requires little to no related experience.
• Irrigation Technicians II: requires at least 1 year of related experience.
• Irrigation Technicians III: requires 3+ years of related experience.
• Irrigation Technicians IV: requires 5+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate, program, and maintain the central irrigation control system.
• Troubleshoot and repair components such as filters, pumps, and piping.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure system reliability.
• Develop irrigation schedules and collaborate with landscape teams.

Education

Equivalency statement: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience
