Qualifications

• Equivalency: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience.
• Irrigation Technicians II: requires at least 1 year of related experience.
• Irrigation Technicians III: requires 3+ years of related experience.
• Irrigation Technicians IV: requires 5+ years of related experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Irrigation Technician II: perform maintenance and repair of irrigation systems and operate the central irrigation control system.
• Irrigation Technician III: manage advanced operations including programming and scheduling; review documents and map irrigation strategies.
• Irrigation Technician IV: act as technical expert; lead projects, manage staff, and support capital planning.
