DJ's Landscape Management in Wixom, MI is seeking an Irrigation Technician for year-round, full-time work. The role focuses on seasonal startup/shutdown of commercial irrigation systems, troubleshooting issues, completing repairs, and optimizing coverage across the season.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in commercial irrigation (service or installation) is required.
• General working knowledge of system components to troubleshoot issues.
• Ability to read blueprints and as-builts.

Responsibilities

• Year-round full-time role focusing on irrigation startup/shutdown, troubleshooting, repairs and optimizing coverage throughout the season.
• Conduct seasonal maintenance and support snow/ice management in winter.
• Maintain safety and quality standards and participate in team training and development.

Our techniciansfocus on seasonal start up and shut down of commercial irrigation systems, as well as troubleshooting issues, completing repairs, and optimizing coverage throughout the season. Requirements

• 3-5 years experience in commercial irrigation system experience: service orinstallation is required
• General working knowledge ofsystem components and function to successfully troubleshoot issues.
• Ability to accurately read blueprintsand as-built's
• General repair/handyman attributes and work experience.
• Possess a chauffeur's driver's license, or the ability to obtain one upon hire
• Experience driving a truck w/ trailer
• Possess a Smart phone and use to track time and material, as well as navigate to properties
• Ability to bend, squat, dig with a shovel, and liftfor extended periods of time
