Mid Pacific Country Club is seeking an Irrigation Technician for the Kailua, Hawaii golf course to install, service, and repair irrigation and water distribution systems.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of golf maintenance experience, along with knowledge of hydraulic theory, plumbing tools, and the ability to read irrigation maps and manuals. Weekend availability and outdoor work are expected.

BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent, the Irrigation Technician is primarily responsible for the installation, upkeep, service and repair of any irrigation or water distribution system.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, bend, kneel, squat, dig, shovel, step down into, talk, and hear. The employee is required to reach with arms and hands, climb and balance; regularly lift, lower, push and pull fifty pounds. The employee must meet vision requirements of close, distant, color, peripheral and depth perception.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: An employee in this position is routinely exposed to water, dirt, and mud, outside weather conditions, odors from plumbing repair supplies, hazards associated with golf courses like flying golf balls and elevated noise levels.
