Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Irrigation Specialist to operate, maintain, and repair its irrigation and drainage systems. You will manage leaks, adjust controllers, and ensure equipment performs to standard across the site.

The role requires basic electrical/hydraulic knowledge, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license. Expect on-call duties and collaboration with the team to uphold service quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Basic knowledge of electricity and hydraulics related to irrigation.
• Experience with irrigation valves and controllers is expected.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Operates, maintains, and repairs a complex irrigation system, including leaks in distribution lines, valves, risers.
• Repair control lines and sprinklers; maintain and repair the master and satellite controllers.
• Operates and maintains pumping station.
• Periodically inspects the various components. On call at all time during operation for leaks & repair.
• Provide instructions on repair and replace broken sprinklers, pumps, risers, controllers, valves, & valve boxes, 1" thru 8" PVC water lines installation & repair.
