Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of grounds-maintenance experience or related training.
• Valid driver's license.
• Credentialed irrigation, excavation, utility-location, equipment, and safety training.
• Inmate-detail supervision training and authorization before directing inmate labor.

Responsibilities

• Performs irrigation inspection, operation, digging, trenching, and maintenance-support tasks.
• Operates vehicles, trailers, pumps, pressure washers, and tools after training and authorization.
• Reports leaks, breaks, pressure problems, overspray, drainage concerns, or unsafe conditions.
• Performs equipment care and records service needs or defects.
• Cleans public spaces and manages sanitation tasks as required.
• Records all hours worked and travel between sites.
• Performs planting, gardening, and grounds cleanup when assigned.
