The City of Westminster is seeking a skilled laborer to perform irrigation and parks maintenance work, operate a range of heavy and light equipment, read construction documents, and develop maintenance schedules. This position requires safety awareness and the ability to work with a team.

Candidates must have high school diploma or GED, at least two years’ experience in landscape/irrigation, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain a Class B CDL within six months.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years’ experience in landscape/irrigation maintenance and related construction practices.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record; CDL-B eligible within six months.
• ABPA backflow certification within one year of hire (or ability to obtain).
• Equivalent combinations of education, training and experience may be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Manage irrigation systems and perform scheduled park maintenance.
• Operate a range of light and heavy equipment safely.
• Read and follow construction documents and maintain maintenance schedules.
• Supervise and train seasonal staff; assist with snow removal and other duties as needed.
