Job summary

Southview Design is seeking an Irrigation Operations Manager to oversee service technicians, installation crews, and subcontractors, ensuring all work is completed on time, to high-quality standards, and with maximum efficiency on our landscape projects in Minnesota. This role requires a minimum of 3 years in management and irrigation, a valid driver's license, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of managerial experience.
• Minimum 3 years of irrigation experience (service, troubleshooting, installation, diagnostics).
• Minimum 3 years in landscape industry preferred.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.
• Bilingual Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Business Manager, sales team, service techs, install crews, and clients.
• Schedule, manage, motivate and oversee internal crews and subcontractors.
• Conduct daily job site visits to ensure quality standards.
• Lead, train, and mentor internal staff while managing subcontractors.
• Monitor crew performance using project metrics.
• Train service technicians in water management services (spring start-ups, inspections, winterizations).
• Work with the sales team to assess estimates and change orders.
• Perform seasonal snow and ice removal tasks; flexible hours during snow events.
