gpac seeks an Irrigation Manager in Minnesota to lead day-to-day operations of an established irrigation operation. The role involves building schedules, assigning crews, and coordinating with customers to ensure projects meet targets.
This position requires at least 4 years of irrigation experience, supervisory background preferred, and CDL/DOT readiness. Expect site visits, problem solving, and close collaboration with sales and operations teams.
Good irrigation crews don't need another person telling them what to do. They need someone who knows how to lead the work.
Someone who can look at the week's projects, the people available, the equipment, the weather and the customer commitments and figure out how to make it all come together.
That's the Irrigation Manager we're looking for.
You'll take responsibility for the day-to-day performance of an established irrigation operation.
Some days that means building schedules and assigning crews.
Other days it means walking a job site, solving an equipment problem, coaching an employee, talking with a customer or figuring out why a project isn't hitting its numbers.
You'll be responsible for:
You understand irrigation and you're ready to lead.
We're looking for at least 4 years of related irrigation experience. Previous supervisory experience is preferred, and pivot irrigation experience will get our attention.
You'll also need experience around irrigation equipment, strong communication and organizational skills, a CDL, and the ability to meet the physical and DOT requirements of the position.
This is not a desk job.
It's an opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to the work but is ready to take responsibility for the people, production, customers and results.
If you've reached the point where you're thinking, “I'd run this differently if it were mine,” we should probably talk.
