Southview Design LLC is seeking an Irrigation Technician in Minnesota with a minimum of 5 years of landscape water management experience. The role involves maintaining and repairing irrigation systems, communicating with managers and sales, and performing seasonal duties including snow removal when needed.

The position requires a valid driver\'s license, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Landscape Water Management Operations.
• Must have a valid driver\'s license with an insurable driving record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual - Spanish a plus; Highschool Diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor\'s or Associate degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Business Manager, sales team, and others to ensure high communication, quality standards, and efficient job performance.
• Complete daily administrative tasks (inventory tracking, time entry, DOT pre-trip) promptly and accurately.
• Follow all company procedures, safety rules, and policies; ensure crew compliance.
• Perform irrigation maintenance and repair tasks: identify water sources, locate valves, replace/adjust heads, program schedules.
• Assist sales team by estimating costs and helping grow irrigation division revenue.
• Document start-ups, winterization, and system operation in irrigation software for client communication.
• Monitor service schedules; inform Business Manager of delays or issues ensuring client notification.
• Maintain clean work areas, trucks, trailers, and uniforms; store equipment properly.
• Possibly perform seasonal snow and ice removal tasks; supervise areas/zones as directed.
