Job summary

SiteOne Landscape Supply is seeking an Irrigation Department Manager at our Addison, IL branch. You will lead irrigation sales and operations, ensuring safety, inventory accuracy, and strong customer service to drive department performance.

You will train agronomic staff, collaborate with branch leadership on new technologies, and support other departments to enhance overall branch success. This role emphasizes teamwork and SiteOne DNA in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of green industry experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and management skills.
• Experience with sales and operations planning and forecasting.
• Understanding of accounting fundamentals: debits, credits, accounts receivable, accounts payable and budgets.
• Willing to learn and adopt new technologies.
• Internal candidates: LOBCertification Level I or higher preferred.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist Branch Manager with sales and operations planning, forecasting, and integration of supply and demand.
• Promote an incident-free environment with daily safety emphasis.
• Encourage a strong safety culture through organization, training, and policy execution.
• Understand and execute inventory management, target customer mix and sales.
• Create a positive environment for employees aligned with SiteOne DNA.
• Train and develop staff to be knowledgeable about irrigation products and customer needs.
• Partner with branch leadership to implement new technologies and improve performance.
• Support other branch departments and customers as needed.
