Job summary

Turner Industries Group is seeking an Ironworker for a turnaround in Kingsport, TN. The role involves raising, placing, and uniting girders and other structural-steel components within a crew, ensuring correct alignment and secure bolting under crew supervision.

This non-exempt position reports to the Foreman and requires high school or equivalent, 1–4 years of experience, and knowledge of ironworker tools and rigging.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–4 years of experience in the ironworker trade.
• Knowledge of ironworker tools and rigging including wire rope slings.
• NCCER certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries of structural material and setup hoisting equipment.
• Lift and place structural-steel members and align holes.
• Bolting and final alignment of structures.
• Follow supervisor directions and safety requirements.
