Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking an Ironworker Foreman for a turnaround position in Kingsport, TN. The Foreman will supervise a crew, interpret blueprints, assign tasks, and ensure safety and quality on site in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years as a Mechanic A/Journeyman, and NCCER Crew Leader certification preferred. Per diem is available for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent is required.
• NCCER Crew Leader Certification is preferred.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical are required.
• Written pre-employment qualification test.
• Safety rules and client PPE requirements must be followed.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and orders and assign duties.
• Line up and follow up all work; ensure production of the unit.
• Inspect work for quality and safety standards; enforce policies.
• Train and assist workers in their duties; supervise and coordinate activities.
• Ensure access and use of job site safety equipment; enforce safety regulations.
