Job summary

ht h companies, inc is seeking an ironworker to install pre-engineered metal buildings and perform connecting work at above-ground elevations. The role requires familiarity with hand signals, rigging, and safety practices for heights.

You will work on-site across varied weather, use hand tools and equipment, climb ladders, and contribute to a safe, efficient job site while meeting project deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• The candidate must be able to install pre-engineered metal buildings and perform connecting work.
• Familiarity with basic hand signals and basic rigging knowledge.
• Safety knowledge while working at heights is required.
• Experience with pre-engineered buildings, pole barns, metal studs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promotes safe workplace by participating in safety training, identifying job hazards, wearing PPE, and observing for oneself and others.
• Shows up on time and ready to complete work
• Follows directions of manager/ lead/ superintendent and clarifies responsibilities if needed
• Respects self, co-workers, managers, company, other contractors, and clients
• Uses a variety of hand tools and operates machinery as required
• Climb ladders and perform work at above-ground elevations
• Perform physically demanding work for 8+ hours a day
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
