Job summary

ht h companies, inc seeks an Ironworker to install pre-engineered metal buildings, perform connecting work, and operate at heights. Must understand basic hand signals, rigging, and safety practices for elevated work. Welding, math skills, and familiarity with metal studs are a plus.

Position involves outdoor work in varying weather and physical labor for 8+ hours a day. Experience with pre-engineered buildings and lifting equipment is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Promotes safe workplace by participating in safety training, identifying job hazards, wearing correct PPE, and observing for oneself and others.
• Shows up on time and ready to complete work
• Follows directions of manager/ lead/ superintendent and clarifies responsibilities if needed
• Respects self, co-workers, managers, company, other contractors, and clients
• Takes care of company owned or rented equipment returning in like manor
• Adaptable in methods used to complete task
• Willing to go the extra mile for the team
• Motivated to learn new skills and trades
• Communicate effectively both written and verbal
• Ability to use assortment of hand tools.
• Strong math skills in basic math, geometry, and algebra.
• Skill to operate a variety of machinery.
• Gather correct tools needed to perform the tasks being completed.
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Work In various weather conditions
• Ability to perform physically demanding work for 8+ hours a day
