Job summary

ht h companies, inc is seeking an ironworker to install pre-engineered metal buildings, perform connecting work, and operate at heights. Candidates should be familiar with hand signals, basic rigging, and safety protocols for elevated work. Welding experience is a plus and readiness to handle physical tasks is required.

Responsibilities include following supervisor directions, maintaining PPE, and contributing to a safe, efficient team environment across varying weather and site conditions.

Qualifications

• Follows safety rules and wears PPE; understands basic job hazards.
• Shows ability to perform basic math and geometry as needed.
• Experience with hand signals, rigging, and heights safety is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes safe workplace by participating in safety training, identifying job hazards, wearing correct PPE, and observing for oneself and others.
• Shows up on time and ready to complete work
• Follows directions of manager/ lead/ superintendent and clarifies responsibilities if needed
• Respects self, co-workers, managers, company, other contractors, and clients
• Takes care of company owned or rented equipment returning in like manor
• Adaptable in methods used to complete task
• Willing to go the extra mile for the team
• Motivated to learn new skills and trades
• Communicate effectively both written and verbal
• Ability to use assortment of hand tools.
• Strong math skills in basic math, geometry, and algebra.
• Skill to operate a variety of machinery.
