The role emphasizes safe, punctual teamwork, tool handling, math skills, and the ability to work 8+ hours in varying weather. Ladders, heavy lifting, and confined spaces may be involved.

Qualifications

• Ability to work 8+ hours in physically demanding conditions.
• Experience with hand signals and basic rigging knowledge.
• Familiarity with pre-engineered buildings, pole barns, metal studs; welding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promotes safe workplace by participating in safety training and using PPE.
• Shows up on time and ready to complete work.
• Follows directions of manager/lead/superintendent and clarifies responsibilities.
• Respects coworkers, managers, company, other contractors and clients.
• Takes care of company equipment and returns it in good condition.
• Adapts methods to complete tasks and works as part of a team.
• Communicates effectively in writing and verbally.
• Uses a variety of hand tools and operates machinery as needed.
• Applies basic math, geometry, and algebra as required.
• Leads to work safely in confined spaces and various weather conditions.
• Climbs ladders and performs tasks lifting up to 50 lbs; stands/walks for long periods.
• Capable of maintaining alertness and safe practice at all times.
