TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking a Construction Structural Worker to layout, install, assemble and erect steel components per blueprints and industry standards.

The role requires reading specifications, fabricating metal parts, hoisting and placing steel, and ensuring alignment and quality on site. Candidates should be able to work in a construction environment, handle tools safely, and pass pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated safety awareness and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and communicate with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints/specifications to determine locations, quantities, or sizes of material.
• Fabricate metal parts (steel frames, columns, beams, girders) per blueprints.
• Unload and position prefabricated steel units; hoist beams using cranes and signal operators.
• Verify alignment of structural members using plumb bobs, laser, or levels.
• Cut, bend, or weld steel pieces with appropriate equipment.
• Position structural members for bolting, riveting, or welding.
• Assemble hoisting equipment to move heavy materials.
• Estimate sizes, distances, and resources needed for activities.
• Inspect workers' output for compliance with plans and specs.
