Mortenson Construction is seeking an Ironworker Apprentice to learn how to assist journeymen in marking, positioning, and securing structural steel members for concrete and building projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Enrolled in Apprenticeship Aptitude Program.
• Current driver's license.
• Ability to read and interpret safety regulations and manuals; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Select, clean, and install reinforcing rods as directed by journeymen.
• Load, transport, unload, and furnish workers with materials, tools, and equipment.
• Clean work area and restock supplies; maintain journeymen's tools and equipment.
• Assist in lifting, positioning, and securing materials during installation; bend steel rods; supply wire mesh.
