Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble, and inspect room service orders to ensure accuracy, quality, and proper presentation before delivery.
• Deliver food, beverages, and amenities to guest rooms promptly, courteously, and in accordance with the hotel's service standards.
• Present orders to guests, verify that all requested items have been delivered, and respond to guest questions regarding menu items and services.
• Retrieve trays, service carts, and used dining items from guest rooms in a timely manner to maintain clean guest corridors and service areas.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper stock levels of room service stations, service areas, and equipment.
• Ensure each order includes all requested food and beverage items, condiments, utensils, and accompaniments prior to delivery.
• Promptly communicate guest requests, special instructions, complaints, or service concerns to the supervisor to ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate effectively with the Kitchen, Stewarding, Front Office, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure efficient and seamless service.
• Anticipate operational needs and notify the appropriate team when supplies or inventory require replenishment.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards while handling, transporting, and serving food and beverages.
• Complete assigned opening, operating, and closing duties, ensuring work areas and equipment are clean, organized, and ready for the next shift.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and wear the designated uniform in accordance with hotel grooming standards.
• Protect the confidentiality of guest information and safeguard company assets.
• Comply with all hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to the supervisor.
• Foster positive working relationships with team members and support departmental goals through teamwork and collaboration.
• Consistently deliver exceptional guest service while maintaining the hotel's quality and hospitality standards.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• Hospitality oriented
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods of time
• Able to work quickly and efficiently, especially under pressure
• Able and willing to perform basic cleaning duties
• Excellent communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and a commitment to providing outstanding guest service
• Previous experience in a similar role in a hotel or restaurant is preferred
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Fully Bilingual (English/Spanish).
