Qualifications

• Master's degree in a research or science-related field
• Certified IRB Professional (CIP) required at time of hire
• Five (5) years of IRB office or regulatory review experience
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regs governing human subjects research

Responsibilities

• Prepares agenda and materials for IRB meetings and distributes to members.
• Moderates meetings to ensure required determinations are made.
• Summarizes controverted issues, resolutions, and board actions in minutes.
• Generates IRB correspondence related to actions on submissions.
• Reviews complex protocols for regulatory and ethical compliance.
• Determines review type and facilitates revisions to submissions.
