Job summary

D.A. Davidson Companies is seeking a back-up specialist to support IRA and Cash Management operations. You will handle IRA contributions, distributions, and tax payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance while balancing ledgers and supporting client service.

Qualifications

High School diploma or comparable work experience.
AA degree in accounting preferred.
Strong calculator and computer skills including Excel, Word and Outlook.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Familiar with back-office policies and procedures.
Knowledge of IRA rules and IRS regulations or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Process IRA contributions, rollovers, conversions, transfers and re-characterizations.
Post manual deposits to IRA accounts and scan checks for deposits.
Balance IRA-related checks and post fees during peak periods.
Process TRAX IRA distributions and establish Beneficiary IRAs.
Handle state and Federal IRA tax payments and reconcile reports.
Review department reports to correct IRA reporting errors.
