Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program.
• Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
• 1+ years of broad interventional exposure.

Responsabilités

• Maintains competence in assisting during physician supervised procedures with proper sterile preparation of patient access areas and supplies.
• Maintains professional competency to perform radiologic imaging across vascular, spinal, chest, abdomen, pelvis and extremity locations.
• Completes mandatory educational assignments as provided by leadership.
• Follows policies on confidentiality, HIPAA and safety.
• Maintains clean, organized work areas and sterilized rooms/equipment.
• Maintains state and national licensure and required certifications.
• Wears radiation protection and monitors exposure as required.
• Participates in patient safety time-outs and post-procedure huddles.
• Participates in on-call coverage and overtime as needed.
• Assists with technologist preceptorship and radiology resident training.
